Audit Partners required for Audit Inspections

Audit Regulation

London

Permanent ⁄ £80000 - £100000

Updated January 24, 2012

Our client is responsible for monitoring the audits of all listed and other major public interest entities. They are interested in talking to recently retired Audit Partners from larger audit firms about opportunities for flexible working in their audit inspection teams. Team Inspectors participate in inspections of major UK audit firms and review the firms' processes and procedures and audits of listed and major public interest entities.

Who we're looking for
The role requires a thorough knowledge of the auditing of UK listed companies, excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to engage with and, where appropriate, challenge other senior partners on key audit judgements.

The team already includes ex partners who work between 50 and 80% of the year, enabling them to balance this challenging and stimulating role with plenty of time for their personal interests.
If you are an Audit Partner, Audit Director or Audit Senior Manager, your application will be welcome. Due to independence issues, applicants who have previously worked for Ernst & Young are particularly desired at the moment.

About our client
Our client is an independent regulator responsible for promoting confidence in corporate reporting and governance.
