The dispute resolution department at the Camberley office is looking to expand with the recruitment of two additional Dispute Resolution Solicitors to join the current team.

The key competencies Herrington & Carmichael LLP are looking for are:
• Comprehensive experience in civil and commercial litigation casework (would not include employment litigation) and the ability to combine legal knowledge and commercial "nous" to provide solutions to satisfy clients' requirements.
• Ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously when required.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communicator in all mediums.

The key tasks you will be required to undertake are:
• Effective running of case files in compliance with all standards operated within the organisation.
• Ensuring that all clients receive level of service that is in-line with the organisation's Client Care ethos.
• Ability to network effectively and actively contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.

Who we're looking for
Herrington & Carmichael LLP are looking to recruit a solicitor at senior level and an assistant within their dispute resolution department at the Camberley office.

For the main role of the Senior Solicitor the firm are looking for someone with excellent business development skills to work closely with Partner/Head of Department to develop sources of work from new and existing clients. Initially the role will concentrate on the development of work for the department with the fee earning role being secondary. The successful candidate would be expected to have developed a full work load within 12 -18 months and will continue to be a key part in the departments' business development activities.

For the Assistant Solicitor the firm are looking for 3-5 PQE Solicitor who will initially work with the current solicitor who is retiring in September 2010. After such time you will be expected to manage the existing caseload and you will be responsible for maintaining clients and assisting in the development of the department.
