• Strategically direct and manage the marketing team to achieve business targets.
• Ensure effective planning and management of marketing mix.
• Assist and lead in the development of strategies and processes within the department.
• Develop and drive the corporate communications strategy and plan to profile the organization and its products and services.
• Control the effective and efficient provision of marketing services across the business ensuring high quality of service and output.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget.
• Build strong relationships with media, key agencies, suppliers and partners.
• Manage people, performance issues, disciplinary measures and evaluation of team.
• Drive the PR strategy, its objectives and the agency involved.
• Drive the team cohesion, empowerment and responsibility issues within the team.
• Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and establishes the methods to attain them. Generally the incumbent is in charge of an area of work and typically formulates policy for this area.
