The Tyco EMEA Legal department provides corporate, commercial and compliance advice to internal customers acting as a business partner as well as an ethical leader for the corporation as a whole.
With a view to continuing the provision of high quality legal services to the organisation, Tyco seek a Regional Counsel for their UK and
Ireland business.
Reporting to the EMEA General Counsel responsibilities will include:
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating strategic business agreements and providing advice on business transactions
• Working with HR teams to provide expert guidance on employment law matters
• Working as a business partner to improve legal processes and support commercial decision making
• Advising the business on corporate governance, EH&S policies and Ethics
• Dealing broadly on matters concerning Intellectual Property and Data Protection
• Ensuring robust support and timely advice to a demanding and diverse leadership team

Successful applicants will be qualified lawyers with a demonstrable track record of success gained within an international business or large law firm. Athough this is a very broad in house role it would be advantageous to have strong experience in employment law.
It is important that applicants can work autonomously and have the energy, drive and communication skills to influence stakeholders in a challenging and demanding environment. This role will require frequent travel nationally.
