Buro Happold are looking to appoint a Marketing & Business Development Manager to reinforce their existing Marketing & Business Development team: with a presence across all Regions the core function is based in 400 strong Bath head office. The role is a result of a strategic review to ensure efficiency and consistency across all their service areas. With a reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across the Built Environment, in a highly competitive market the organisation is committed to identify an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to plan, manage and implement core marketing and business development plans to meet the organisational aspirations and objectives, working with the Business Development Director.

This team acts as a pivotal function across the whole business, coordinating marketing activity across all disciplines on an international basis. With the support of your team the Marketing & Business Development Manager will be key in centralising this marketing activity, consulting with senior Discipline Directors and Regional Leaders to ensure brand messages are consistent across all marketing activity and their business needs are met.
Budget management will be an essential part to the role as you strive to deliver measurable marketing campaigns and initiatives that deliver ROI and build on campaign success to help aid future decision making strategy.

Leading the central Marketing team, supported by your Senior Marketing Co-ordinator and working with the Regional Business Managers to manage the Regional Business Development Executives: you will be expected to take responsibility for developing your team, identifying training needs, and creating a sense of team belonging and positive work environment.

Who we're looking for
The successful job holder will have experience of working in a professional or business services environment, ideally within a partnership. You will have strong influencing skills and have operated at senior Marketing Manager level previously. Experience across the whole marketing mix will be required for this person but experience of managing rebrand and e-media projects, in particular, would be advantageous. With a proven track record in implementing strategy that delivers results the Marketing & Business Development Manager will also have an understanding of how marketing and business development go hand-in-hand to help keep this business one step ahead of the competition.
