Job Purpose

The world's largest poker site, is looking to hire a senior marketer to lead its Web & Localisation team.

The Director of Web & Localisation (DWL) will manage all content, localisation and web publishing activities on companywide bases whilst managing number of internal teams across various locations.


Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for content management, including marketing and promotional material, across the network of websites and blogs across all languages
• Creation of holistic global content strategy that will act as a framework for local specific strategy, assuring all websites feature consistent and coherent content with degrees of flexibility to promote local agendas.
• Optimisation of existing and creation of new procedure and best practices for content management involving complete content creation and publication cycle
• Full managerial responsibilities for all staff dedicated to content creation, publication and localisation.
• Business stake holder for CMS integration, deployment and operation
• Supervision of all non-technical aspects of client localisation
• Supervise all technical work related to web publishing, creation of new sites and management of an extensive network of existing websites and blogs
• Management of multimillion USD budgets, focused around content creation, live blogging, translation& localisation and product development
• Provide strategic direction for content management, creation of cohesive unified web applications and localised software interfaces with optimisation of user experience being top of mind.

Who we're looking for
Essential

• At least 5 years experience and successful track record in content management and production in a consumer facing multi lingual web interface.
• Experience in managing large network of multi lingual blogs
• Strong understanding of UCG and usability architecture in web and software environments
• Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements into a product vision creating specifications and implementing online consumer facing interfaces.
• Strong understanding of localisation practices, requirements and variation across different local business requirements and language types
• At least 2 years writing/editing experience in a professional environment (on- or offline)
• Proven track record in managing a 24/7 content support operation
