Bid Manager

Construction (Education BSF)

Manchester

Permanent ⁄ £55000 - £65000

To engage in a strategic and developmental role at the heart of the business looking at bidding for Building Schools for Future projects across the North. The role will be involved with managing existing bids and leading new projects through to financial close whilst managing a range of different stakeholders involved.
Key Responsibilities
• Bid team creation, development and overall management of the bid process
• Identification and tracking of opportunities and regularly updating the company opportunity development schedule
• Preparation of bid win strategy reports to facilitate commercial reviews and evaluation of opportunities
• Production and presentation of investment proposals to internal audience for sign off
• Development and negotiation of Project Agreement with all stakeholders

Who we're looking for
Our clients success within the UKEducation Sector will be measured by their ability to negotiate and secure public sector PFI/BSF contracts. This is an opportunity for a senior manager with a strong commercial aptitude and adrive to winwith knowledge and experience of bidding in this sector to make a real impact on this region of the business. The successful candidate will need:
• Previous experience of bidding for BSF projects for an investment arm of a contractor, the contractor directly or a FM provider
• Be commutable to Manchester
• Have the gravitas to operate at this level with a number of different stakeholders and the will to win

What's on offer
Circa £60,00 basic plus car, health, pension and bonus
