Claims Management Services is a highly systemised branch of the Keoghs operation, offering Insurer Clients a service driven process while dealing with large volumes of pre-litigated, small and fast track claims.

As a Team Leader within this operation, the successful candidate will lead and manage a team of fee earners with the aim of creating and sustaining high performance levels. You will be one of 6 Team Leaders to report into a Business Unit Director within Claims Management Services. A clear focus and detailed understanding of the work handled by the unit is vital as you drive performance within the team.

You will develop and manage key relationships with external clients and maintain continued high performance internally. Leadership is a key part of this role as you will drive performance and supervise the team of fee earners you manage.

Who we're looking for
• You will be a Team Leader in your current role
• You will ideally have performed a similar role within Legal Private Practice
• You will either be from a claimant or defendant background - the key is the ability to combine working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules with management responsibility and leadership of a team
• You will be attracted by the non-city location, either a local person from Bolton or from further afield attracted by the ability to work for a leading Insurance backed business without the daily grind of the city
• You will have strong management / leadership skills - the ability to organise, streamline and inspire colleagues
• You will be highly adaptable, able to maintain a cool presence in pressurised situations and drive performance through effective supervision and leadership of teams
• You will be a strong candidate - ideally with experience within a top UK law firm
• You may be from outside the immediate North-West and be attracted by all the North-West has to offer. The location of the Bolton office allows candidates to be based in a variety of locations and with easy reach of the cities of the North-West and the Lake District

What's on offer
