This ContourGlobal Legal Department is seeking an experienced lawyer to serve as the Business Unit Senior Counsel for the CG Solutions business. The purpose of this position is to advise and represent the organisation on a variety of legal matters affecting CG Solutions and affiliated entities in Europe and Africa. The Senior Counsel will provide oversight, direction and co-ordination of all legal issues with respect to operations and transactions as well as institutional and administrative matters. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel of ContourGlobal, responsibilities
will include:
• Working on international transactions, advising on legal structuring options, and negotiating and assisting in the implementation of
investment operations
• Providing day-to-day guidance to business and engineering clients on various corporate and development matters
• Working with Human Resources staff to provide expert guidance on employment law matters
• Assisting Environmental, Health and Safety staff in providing and supervising legal services in connection with compliance with laws, rules and governmental regulations

Who we're looking for
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growth, dynamic business expanding internationally. Successful applicants will be qualified lawyers
with at least five years PQE gained within a major law firm. You will have the ability to draft, analyse and interpret commercial documents and
agreements specifically within the power and energy sector. It is important that applicants can work autonomously and have the drive
to cope with a demanding workload supporting broad business and commercial decisions. You will undoubtedly have strong communication and presentation skills with experience dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. We require a lawyer who has gained the necessary experience for the position advertised.
