Head of SHE

From a group perspective, your remit is to shape and drive SHE strategy, policies, procedures and management systems in order to deliver SHE excellence across a geographically and operationally diverse range of business units. With a proactive approach you will engage with and understand the operating needs of the businesses at all levels. Utilising your strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills you will ensure that the SHE Agenda is operating at World Class levels and is owned and culturally inherent in all areas of the business. Whilst the role will require time spent at Head Office in the Midlands, the position holds a national remit which may allow you to base yourself from one of their regional offices.

Who we're looking for
You have experience of heading up a SHE function in a potentially hazardous, multisite environment, likely to have been within the chemical, petrochemical, construction or utilities market sectors. You can demonstrate high levels of operational understanding to complement your SHE qualifications, and have a track record of successfully influencing and driving World Class practices across a diverse organisation. Equally comfortable at both board level and shop floor, you are looking to join an organisation whose commitment and passion for Health & Safety mirrors your own.
