UK Sales Manager

Our client is a leading provider of non-branded consumer products in the UK and they are expanding the retail side of the business. The UK Sales Manager will work independently to sell the companies products to a range of customers from independent retailers to national multiples. You will grow the business through account management of major nationwide accounts and generating new business through targeted prospecting and networking. The core of this role will involve selling products for re-sale.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should be an experienced Sales Manager who is capable of working independently. You will have ultimate P&L responsibility for your market. You should have previously sold high volume products for resale into the UK retail channel. You should be able to think on your feet and negotiate large scale contracts with clients from sole traders to national multiples. An understanding of buying and procurement procedures would be beneficial. You should be highly numerate, commercial and dynamic with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills. This role offers a highly motivated target driven candidate the opportunity to make their mark on a national level.
