Tax & Treasury Advisor:

To assist in the accurate and timely production and submission of all tax returns and supporting information for both Hewden and Finning. To assist with general cash management within the Treasury function

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for Hewden & Finning, including Intrastat and EC Sales list returns
• Preparation of other monthly statutory returns such as RDCO and CIS returns
• Preparation of PAYE settlement agreement, CITB levy and dispensations for Hewden
• Responsible for the preparation of corporation computations for Hewden and Finning including gathering information, analysing tax sensitive accounts, analysing fixed asset movements
• Responsible for preparing tax computations and returns using tax software
• Assisting with the completion of the quarterly tax reporting templates
• Assisting Tax & Treasury Manager with day to day tax queries and any HMRC enquiries
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Treasury reports
• Responsible for weekly/monthly AP and AR reconciliations for Hewden

Who we're looking for
This is a ideal role from someone looking for their first move into in house tax or someone looking to develop their commercial skills. You should have a proven track record in corporate tax coupled with a ACA, ACCA, CTA, overseas equivalent or ATT qualification. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in communicating with internal and external contacts. Also you should have a proactive attitude and have the ability to work well under pressure.
