Your role as a Government & Infrastructure Advisory Manager will be to take ownership of allocated assignments and play a significant role in the development of sales propositions working with senior colleagues.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Attends client meetings, facilitates negotiations and develops business cases. conduct risk modelling and statistical analysis
• Provides advice on the financial aspects of a PFI/PPP procurement process
• Financial evaluation of tenders and advises on contract issues with a financial element
• Reviews financial models and provide accounting opinions
• Takes an active part in networking events
• Aims to build a personal network from which to generate leads
• Actively involved in marketing events and is seen as an ambassador for the firm
• Contributes to the development of the firm's Government and Infrastructure Advisory team methodology and market knowledge through involvement in technical and/or sector-based taskforces.
• Clients may from time to time require additional support in delivering their projects, which may include project planning and management of the procurement administrative processes
• Builds and maintains good working relationships with colleagues and manages relationships with key clients.
• Works effectively with all members of the team, building the confidence and respect of peers and subordinates
• Appraises and mentors executives giving regular feedback, timely appraisals and provides development opportunities
• Actively involved in office marketing events and is an ambassador of the firm.
• Is aware of the wide range of services the firm offers and suggests innovative products whilst pro actively identifying cross selling opportunities.
• Demonstrates a clear appetite for self development through the appraisal and PDP processes. Reviews work afterwards for learning points. attends training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills.
• Adheres to the firms risk management policies and procedures
• Undertakes other duties to meet the demands of the business
Who we're looking for
ACA / ACCA / CIPFA qualified with a thorough knowledge of PFI / PPP. You must have excellent report writing skills and should be capable of developing outline business cases; consultancy; bid support; evaluating tenders; negotiation and review of models.
