In 2008 Lexis Nexis acquired U.S business Choice Point, to reflect strong growth in demand for risk and information analytics solutions.
In 2009 The LexisNexis Risk & Analysis Group plan to launch the Choice Point solutions into the UK and European market. The business is therefore recruit a senior business development manager to drive new business in this new territory.
The role will require working closely with the Global Vice President of Sales based in the U.S, to produce short term and medium strategy for this new division. The primary objective of the role will be to drive sales growth, develop new partnerships and maintain a sustainable pipeline.
New client relationships may be developed by leveraging against a U.S Choice Point client base as well as working along side other stakeholder departments in the UK.
In the medium term this role will also develop into a leadership role, with the eventual recruitment of domestic/European sales force.
This is a high profile role,with a superb opportunity to take a market leading brand to the UK and European market.
Who we're looking for
A senior sales professional with a strong understanding of the Risk & Compliance market. The successful candidate will be in a commercial role within the information technology sector and have a strong network within the UK /European Professional Services and Large Corporate market.
This person will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of selling and influencing into the following buying centres across Industry and the Advisory market; HR & Group HR Directors, Head of Risk & Compliance Departments and Senior Decision Makers in Procurement Departments.
An ideal candidate will have be highly structured, have sales management experience and understand how to build a business.
Some exposure to the Screening and Authentication sector is a must.
