We are looking for a UK Financial Controller to head up a busy financial shared service centre in Coventry responsible for processing all financial transactions in the UK. There will be a strong emphasis on leading and developing the UK finance team and implementing effective and efficient processes and controls.

Responsibilities include:

• Full responsibility for the UK finance shared services covering several business units.
• Leading and developing a team of over 40 people covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and invoicing.
• Continual improvement in efficiency of financial processes.
• Ensuring compliance with, and effective execution of group financial policies and procedures.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role you should be:

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent).
• Experienced in running large, multi-functional finance teams in a multi-site and/or shared service centre environment.
• A proven leader of people, able to inspire and motivate large teams.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of improving and implementing financial processes and procedures.
• Experienced in working with large transactional financial systems such as JD Edwards and a complex chart of accounts.
