As the Wine Buyer you will play a major part in the ongoing success of the business. Your relationships with your suppliers will enable you to select wines that ensure our portfolio remains at the forefront of worldwide excellence. Your main tasks will be to manage the relationships with European and New World producers, including negotiation of terms. Further to this, the Wine Buyer will;
• Redefine the wine portfolio by selecting new producers and wines.
• Manage relationships with suppliers supplying entry level wines.
• Manage the administration of ordering, shipment and stock management.
• Maintain and further develop the customer service levels within the company.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced wine buyer. Ideally you will be WSET accredited to full diploma level, be strong commercially, and have a proven track record in buying entry level wine from European / New World producers. Further to this, it is essential that applicants for this role speak fluent French.

What's on offer
Basic salary up to £30,000 or commensurate with experience.
