Job Role
As an Editor, reporting to the Publishing Director, you will be responsible for editing and coordinating the editorial process language education materials. You will liaise with colleagues, authors and partners in editorial, design, production and marketing/sales divisions to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in line with customers? needs. The job demands a good understanding of the needs of language teachers and learners. The position will also involve providing regular assistance and administrative support to the Publishing Director across on all of the division?s projects.

Who we're looking for
Degree qualified in Languages, Education or related disciplines with editorial experience with an international educational publisher, preferably in ELT. Strong organisational and project management skills and a critical approach towards analysing materials will be essential. Attention to detail is required, as is the ability to demonstrate the capability to work to tight deadlines and possess excellent team-working and communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an intermediate level of Chinese (Putonghua) reading, listening and speaking skills or above. Teaching qualifications/experience, as well as knowledge of the Chinese ELT market would be an advantage.
