As a Youth Participation Project Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering this exciting strategy, which is committed to the influence and involvement of children and young people, to enable them to make a difference in their community, their country and the world. You will apply your strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to help the Methodist Church to change and grow, and to work with young people to help them develop personally, spiritually and educationally, with or without an association with the church. The Methodist Church is looking for3 Project Managers to be home-based, one in each of the following areas: Midlands, North West and London

Who we're looking for
The Methodist Church seeks candidates with the following:
• Strong project management skills
• Previous experience of youth work in a faith based setting
• A recognised youth work qualification
• The ability to think strategically, to research and draft policies and reports for consideration by management and governance groups
• The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels including children and young people, Methodist Ministers, senior managers within the Methodist Church, children and youth workers and theological colleges
• Experience of collaborative leadership and management ideally acquired in the context of youth and/or community work
• A commitment to the personal, spiritual and educational development of young people

About our client
As a Youth Participation Project Manager, you will work as a team member of the Children and Youth team of the Discipleship and Ministries Cluster of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. You will coordinate the Youth Participation Programme in your region and will ensure effective delivery against the agreed objectives in respect of the Youth Participation Strategy.

What's on offer
£28,000-£29,812 + benefits including final salary pension scheme and 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays and an extra 3 days at Christmas and New Year
