Job Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director is a key role with overall accountability for the finance function. Participating with the senior team (s)he will provide financial support to the company business and the management team.
The key aspects of the role will include:
- Managing overall profitability including analysis of key business drivers
- Guiding the management team in commercial decision-making / strategic planning.
- Managing the 5 year plan and budget process as well as forecast/profit indications for the JV.
- Optimizing treasury management and cash forecasting
- Ensuring that efficient controls are in place.
Who we're looking for
For this strategic role, we are ideally looking for a Financial Executive, chartered accountant, with experience as a head of finance for an FMCG company, with a strong knowledge of emerging countries (Africa preferred).
About our client
Our client, an international FMCG Group with several subsidiaries in Africa, is looking for a Finance Director for its Joint Venture subsidiary in Nigeria. With two factories in Nigeria, the annual sales turnover amounts to $150M and is rapidly growing.
