Grants Manager

The Grants manager will manage the contract and relationship between the agency and its principal partner and ensure maximum grant and funding support is directed to the right projects across more businesses to match strategic objectives. The Grants Manager will also review recommendations from partner organisations on grant appraisals and make judgements on whether to accept or reject recommendations.

Who we're looking for
The ideal Grants Manager will have:
• Excellent project management skills with an understanding of whole project lifecycle including appraisals and finance.
• Exposure to both public and private sector.
• Detailed knowledge of grant schemes and Financial instruments within the public sector.
• An appreciation of managing budgets of c.£10m.
• Knowledge of the Solutions for Business Portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to represent the organisation to business leaders, business membership organisations and government.
• Management of teams.
• Proven planning and organisational skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
