The Creative Development Executive will provide creative input working alongside a colleague and manager. An exciting and autonomous role providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to grow and develop:
Key responsibilities include:
• Project management across the full campaign mix including packaging development, trade and consumer advertising, outdoor and online media
• Take responsibility for the creative management of specific projects / titles. Working closely with agencies and third party suppliers to ensure timelines are adhered to and briefs met. This covers all aspects of the creative process from initial brief through to final production
• Responsible for the proofing and sign-off of packaging elements for your projects
• Management of budgets for the projects you have been assigned, providing visibility to all necessary parties and adhering to the processes in place for cost management
• Ensure efficient management for the production of materials for your specific projects
• Providing guidance and support on creative matters and in relation to all your projects / titles for the wider teams e.g. marketing, retail marketing, sales and pre-production
• Act as the key point of contact (internally and externally) for material supply; responsible for updating and maintaining all spread sheets and process documents (for your creative assets) and ensuring that this information is shared accordingly with all necessary parties
• Ensuring all internal departments are in the loop and up to speed on the creative status of all your projects
• Building and maintaining strong cross party relationships
Who we're looking for
The ideal individual will have a background in the entertainment industry or FMCG with a strong focus on packaging, advertising and campaign management. The role also requires determination and diplomacy and the ability to work well as part of a team whilst being responsible for and maintaining your own workload. It is also imperative that this person can build and maintain relationships internally (across departments), with their counterparts in the LA home office and with external agencies and third parties.
This is not a hands on design role; it is important however that the individual has an understanding of design processes, print processes and art working. What is most important is the ability to give direction, guidance, inspiration and a clear vision to our third party suppliers and agencies, the key focus will be working with agencies to manage and direct projects from initial concept through to final print, be it packaging, online campaigns, press advertising or TV and radio campaigns.
