This is a brand new appointment for this niche UK Charity. To support growth and expansion plans in Scotland the Public Relations Officer will report directly into the Chief Executive. This is a varied but exciting role. The job will involve a broad range of awareness-raising activities in Scotland which will include media liaison, developing & writing press releases, developing UK -wide newsletter and also developing the PR strategy and monitoring media coverage. This role will include UK travel.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of PR/Media Relations preferably gained within the NFP or healthcare sector. It is essential you have strong verbal and non-verbal communication skill. You will be highly motivated, a self starter and be empathetic to the charity cause.
