The Business Development Executive role is all about people. Identifying opportunities to sell consultancy services into decision makers in SME's through to major conglomerates. Working from an office based in Guildford, you will have the autonomy to run your own sales desk with a defined set of clients. You will initially contact these clients by telephone to establish current&/ or future needs before utilising your influencing skills to persuade them to work with you. To take your relationship to the next level, you will aim to meet as many of the companies within your client portfolio as is possible. As a result, your face-to-face selling and presentation skills must also be first rate. You will feel comfortable working as a part of a team as well as working to sales targets.

Successful business development candidates will need to be able to point to times in their career to date where they displayed first-class communication skills, bags of enthusiasm, unparalleled drive and plenty of determination. It's fair to say that this role will not suit everyone. In fact, it's fair to say that this role will suit very few. But those who do find that this role and company matches their ambition and expectation can expect to have a long and successful career. You will have a degree or equivalent, and possess a level of commercial experience ideally gained within a sales environment.
