HR Business Specialist

You will be charged with delivering a comprehensive tactical and strategic HR service for our Real Estate Business with a client base in the UK as well as in Germany, France, Sweden, Hungary and the Netherlands. To be successful in this role it is paramount that the candidate will build internal relationships with key stakeholders across the business unit and establish him/her self as a technically credible and financially sound HR professional. Additionally, as a significant hire for this role you will be a key figure in participating and leading on Global HR Projects across the business that can help drive the overall business and people strategy forward

The successful candidate will;

General:

• Support the business on various change management initiatives by making sure from an HR perspective that Global Heads have a clear understanding on local constraints, prioritise interventions and gain commitment for delivery

• Develop and maintain effective and commercially viable working relationships with senior management and other parts of the business

Employment Law/Employee Relations:

• Together with the ER team, manage all employee relations issues as well as ensuring that the process is legally compliant across the UK and the European offices as well as delivered in a professional and timely manner

Performance Management/Development:

• Ensure the annual performance appraisal process is completed in a timely and fair manner

• Ensure that the training needs of staff are assessed and appropriate and commercially viable activities are proposed

• Participate in annual Career Planning meetings with the business both in the UK and the respective European offices

Recruitment/Talent:

• Be responsible for sourcing appropriate talent which correlates with the organisational need, vision and values. You will be managing the recruitment process at all levels for all permanent and non permanent staff members

• Establish a commercially viable and fruitful long term relationship with key Executive Search agencies as well as managing potential offer stages

Compensation Review:

• Co-ordinate the annual compensation review, which will include; meetings with managers, discussions on appropriate compensation levels, benchmarking etc.

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role it is paramount that the individual has had a successful track record working within a structurally complex and commercially progressive organisation. You will have the scope, gravitas and willingness to work at all levels within a business partnering capacity and have the technical know how, communication and credibility to work at a very challenging and senior level.

You will have;

• A degree in HR (CIPD) or equivalent exposure

• Commercial business partnership exposure through delivery of HR strategy clearly impacting the bottom line

• Business Management and Divisional wide level influencing exposure

• Matrix management of self and business required - collaborating across geographical boundaries recognising and leveraging diversity across multiple stakeholders

• Technical HR exposure and implementation - including employee relations, performance management and recruitment, compensation and leadership development
