Head of HR - Employee Relations & Engagement

Reporting to the Divisional HR Director the successful candidate will take a leading role within the Senior HR Team at a time of major change. They will:
• work in a strategic capacity with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders across the business
• design and implement value added strategic HR interventions in relation to Employee Relations and Engagement
• develop and establish a progressive culture for change
• lead on the consultation, negotiation and building a 'partnership' relationship with the Trade Unions at an important time of change
• lead a team and provide expert ER advice across the business to leaders and HR colleagues
• work as a deputy to the HR Director and have the broader Management experience to lead a Senior team

Who we're looking for
Degree educated and Professionally accredited, you will be a strong HR professional with a strength in Employee Relations and Employee Engagement. You will have the flexibility of approach to excel in both a corporate Head Office environment and also in unionised, operational sites.You will have a proven track record from within large commercial Blue Chip organisations and a strength in the progressive management of Trade Unions. In addition to having ER and Engagement expertise you may have worked in a Head of HR or HR Director role and will have the knowledge and experience to deputise for the HR Director.

What's on offer
