Our client is growing rapidly from a headcount of 500 to near 1000 employees due to a contract expansion. Due to this rapid growth they are putting in place a new HR management team to give the business the support it needs during an exciting period of change.

The HR Manager will sit as part of the senior site management team and will lead the growth of the HR team from a headcount of 2 to 5 including an addition of 2 new HR Advisors. The team will initially focus on the high volume recruitment campaign, developing the new culture and imbedding the new business structure to ensure ongoing business performance. The HR Team will also provide an ongoing generalist HR Service to the business.

Who we're looking for
The HR Manager will be a CIPD qualified HR generalist who can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of working in a large, complex operational environment. You will have experience of managing a HR team, as well as being able to demonstrate successfully managing change, including high volume and senior recruitment.

The HR Manager will recruit two HR Advisors, who will both have a generalist background, but one will have a recruitment bias (contract position) and will have experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns. They will be currently working towards the CIPD or have a willingness to study.

Candidates will be required to have a strong understanding of employment legislation and its practical application.

IDS are looking for team players with strong communication skills, who will very quickly build relationships with colleagues and your client group.

All candidates will ideally come from a logistics or manufacturing environment, or will have experience of working with a blue collar workforce and will be able to demonstrate credibility and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
