This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a UK Recruitment Lead to join BP in a senior role. You will be based at the Head Offices in Sunbury-On-Thames, partnering with the Head of Resourcing in the US in recommending, establishing and maintaining operational excellence.

As UK Recruitment Lead you will oversee and be accountable for recruitment strategies and campaign plans across several business units


Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the HRD on all Resourcing issues

• Direct Line Management of a team of 3

• Management of a portfolio of requisitions and full-cycle recruitment

• Management and Participation in full selection process including candidate screening, interviewing, assessment and Offer processes

• Development and Implementation of strategies to attract, screen and recruit highly qualified candidates

• Maintain recruitment metrics, to measure, communicate results and recommend improvements to strengthen results

• Responsible for UK based recruitment operations, administration and integration of team activities

• Ensures appropriate resource allocation.

• HR systems and recruitment processes
• Management of all leadership responsibilities including recruitment admin, compliance, travel etc

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an expert recruiter with outstanding leadership and management qualities. You will have strong communication influencing skills and have the ability to partner closely with the key stakeholder on all issues of operational excellence.

You will have:

• A minimum of a 2:1 degree

• Proven delivery of recruitment strategies across multiple business units with excellent results

• Strong working knowledge of recruitment systems, polices and practices

• Successful background working within a complex, blue chip, matrix structure

• Managed a virtual team


You will be:

• Able to manage all leadership responsibilities including recruitment admin, compliance, travel etc

• A recruitment process expert and will demonstrate strengths in all leadership behaviours including: Value expertise, Energise people, Act Decisively and Delivering Results

• A strategist and a hands on individual who thrives on operational excellence
