We are looking for an Embedded Value / Solvency II Manager to join a fast growing company in the Spanish market, with multinational implantation. Main responsibilities of the candidate will be to take charge of the Embedded Value and Solvency II project, for the benefit of all the above group companies.

Incorporated to the Actuarial Department, the EV / S2 manager takes charge of the following topics:

- Development and maintenance of an EV / VNB model for all group companies (development under Prophet);

- EV / VNB Reporting;

- Liability Adequacy Test;

- Leader of the Solvency II project: participation in Quantitative Impact Studies and preparatory works requested;

- Financial projections for Strategic Planning;

- Assist Group CFO in the follow-up of value creation, interact with Auditors for annual tests of VBI / Goodwill;

- Correspondent of the ERM project led;

- Internal training in Prophet.

To assist in the realization of his/her missions, the EV/S2 will be assisted by a small team of 2-3 FTEs (to be constituted with internal and/or external resources).

Who we're looking for
Experience requirements:

- Experience in the life insurance industry;

- Deep knowledge of Prophet modeling tool (expert user): experience in building models from scratch, autonomy to build new models for different purposes (ALM, EV, S2, etc?), ability to train other users;

- High awareness of Solvency II project;

- International experience (whether for studies or for work) is a plus.

Personal skills:

- Qualified Actuary (or close to qualification);

- University degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting;

- Fluent English imperative / Knowledge in Spanish or French is a plus. In any case, a commitment to learn Spanish is demanded ;

- Highly autonomous, hands-on, dynamic, with ability to work under pressure, in a small structure with limited resources;

- Ability to train its team to solve complex and innovative problems;

- Excellent communication skills;

- Business acumen.
