This roles involves managing circa 10 people in each office location. There are two roles available the first being based in Galashiels and the second being based between Ayr and Kilmarnock. You will control teams of dedicated people who provide support to individuals who are seeking employment, with the fundamental aim of helping them back into employment. You will need to challenge and inspire your team and take responsibility for hitting demanding, but achievable performance targets.
Key areas of focus include:
• People Management: Supporting with training, development and motivation of your teams.
• Account Management: You will manage the relationships with the relevant government bodies to ensure that they are happy with the level of service your business is providing.
• Commercial Management: Whilst this organisation provides a very worthy service to a disadvantaged part of our community, this remains a commercial organisation. As a result, you must control costs and maximise revenues at all times. This is an environment for people with entrepreneurial spirit.
Who we're looking for
In this role you will be charged with driving performance, increasing profit, coaching and developing staff and ensuring all company procedures and compliance is adhered to at all times. At all times you will promote a company culture that celebrates creativity, team work and rapport as all integral to high performance.
In order to be successful you will be commercial and entrepreneurial and be a relationship builder at all levels. You will be an exceptional and experienced manager with a track record of delivering outstanding results, in whatever context you have previously worked.
