Frontend Engineer

Job Role
- Programming of modern Web 2.0 front-ends using JavaScript and AJAX
or: Programming of HTML and CSS based on designs and wire frames working together with our Engineering team
- Implementing new features, maintaining and updating our platform
- Assurance of cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with developers and product managers

Who we're looking for
- Excellent JavaScript skills or: Excellent (X)HTML and CSS skills
- Advanced knowledge of DOM Manipulation and AJAX
- Familiar with frameworks such as Prototype or jQuery
- Basic (X)HTML and CSS skills
- Good knowledge of at least one server-side programming language would be advantageous
- UNIX shell and version control software experience would be advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team, particularly with developers and product managers
- A good level of English is required, a good level of German is nice to have
