Based out of London with the potential of multi site travel nationally you will be responsible for the design and delivery of all aspects of the HR strategy and policy in the UK.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this position will have a dotted line into the senior management team. This means supporting the business through its next phase of growth and tackling both operational and strategic challenges. This is truly a challenging and newly created generalist opportunity to set up a Greenfield HR function. This role will focus on design, development and delivery of a full HR operation. The key accountabilities are TUPE, due diligence, policy and process implementation, recruitment and retention, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership development, benefits and reward, union negotiation, change initiatives, organisational development and cultural initiatives.
Who we're looking for
Preferably CIPD qualified you will have a track record in setting up a Greenfield HR function. You will have the ability to work within a fast paced business environment. Reporting into a results focused organisation you need to be commercially aware, strategically focused, able to influence and communicate at all levels. With strong people management skills operationally, strategically you will be able to inspire and manage a substantial and high performing HR function in a business that is expanding.
Exposure to working with the senior management team, full knowledge of TUPE, due diligence, policy implementation and interpretation, designing HR processes, talent management, succession planning, organisational change and unions. In short,this is a superb platform to set up and make your mark within a forward-thinking, innovative and exciting business. My client is open to either private or public sector experience.
