Job Role
Responsibilities include:
- Act as a resource for sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective comprehensive selling strategies using appropriate methods for the customer segment such as direct marketing (e.g. mailing campaigns), web, phone, face to face, etc.
- Regarding the direct marketing approaches this includes: development of mailings in cooperation with European countries, evaluation and follow up of mailing successes, conduction and planning of market specific webinars in cooperation with European countries
- regarding the web approach this includes:work with web team to establish e-tools to drive, measure, and project sales without direct customer contact, implement best industry practices to create a first class telesales organization, work with web team to leverage web-based platform to enable customer to actively place orders via website, work with web team to develop web-based marketing activities to expand Sales in all market segments
- Provide guidance to Sales people from Customer Opportunity Group and respond to their demands to professionalize non-direct outside sales
- Establish project schedules, project management for implementation of new selling
- Provide project cost, time, and resource for new sales approaches
Who we're looking for
Skills Set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences equivalent with a strong focus on marketing, experience in media related areas
- Direct marketing experiences linked to development & application of selling techniques (telemarketing, traditional, web) within an international Sales company
- Experience within Life Sciences or Industrial markets related products
- Strong knowledge of selling strategies for technical premium products
- Experiences in Sales/Telesales (inbounds-outbounds) and related marketing activities
- Strong orientation to opportunities for electronic media
- Comprehensive knowledge of new and emerging media and associated technologies and applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent English language skills, second language preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Efficient Teamwork with European Marketing colleagues
- Prepared to travel for 10 % (both domestic and international)
Required technical Skills:
- Telesales/Call Center solutions (implementation, support, improvement)
- Experince in sales strategy skills
- Platform: Windows Operating System, IIS, SQL server
- Hands on experience with SAP business solutions is useful but not required
