Sales Director - Emerging Markets

Reporting to the VP EMEAI, key responsibilities will include:
• Providing dynamic leadership in the development of the emerging market territories
• Managing the existing sales teams into an effective workforce, maximising their performance to ensure continued growth and customer retention
• Translating business goals into individual sales targets.
• Working closely with Marketing in order to deliver the product strategy
• Providing regular forecasts from the generation, management and closing of a significant pipeline of sales
• Creating development plans for all staff providing clear succession opportunities
• Ensuring that the emerging markets sales teams work effectively with colleagues and other functions within the business

Who we're looking for
An experienced Sales leader, this person will have a demonstrable track record of developing and managing a sales force across International territories. Other skills include:
• Ideally having a strong grasp of chemical or pharmaceutical industries
• The passion, drive and determination to inspire a team of geographically dispersed individuals to achieve the corporate goals
• Experience of managing teams and channels in a multinational environment
• The ability to create winning bid proposals, plan and conduct complex contract negotiations
• The ability to build strategic relationships with key partners and customers
• The ability to design and implement effective processes to ensure prospects are pursued, proposals are delivered and contracts are closed

Having identified an emerging markets region as one with significant opportunity for growth, they now wish to hire a strong sales leader to provide guidance and leadership development to the existing and future sales teams.
