Reporting to the CEO the Business Development Consultant will develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to agreed annual targets and actively and successfully manage the end-to-end sales process. This will include lead generation, new business pitching, negotiation & closing business and finally hand-over to the Client Account Management team. You will be responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting along with ensuring that you remain proactive and responsive to all clients needs. Given the client facing nature of this opportunity it is also essential that you are confident in presenting products to potential clients and attending trade shows as a key representative.
Who we're looking for
To be a success in this role, you will have a proven track-record in sales, preferably within the Financial Services arena. Experience in Expense Cost Reduction or Data Processing or Forensic Accounting would be a particular advantage. In addition to a positive and determined approach to generating new business, you will be a confident negotiator and have the ability to 'close deals'. Along with your strong client management skills, proactive approach to problems and your self-motivated nature to achieve set targets, you will be looking for a fresh challenge.
