As Compensation and Benefits Manager - Human Resources this is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to define a key role within a leading, global FMCG business. Working on site in Guildford the successful candidate will provide HR support for the UK, Nordic & Ireland operation. Specialising in managing Compensation & Benefits you will be responsible for helping to ensure that Colgate-Palmolive are attracting, motivating, developing and retaining high calibre staff. Reporting to the HR Director with direct line responsibility for the Compensation & Benefits Analyst you will have regular exposure to the Compensation & Benefits teams in Europe and the US as well as Senior Management on a daily basis. A highly visible role you will take ownership of all Compensation & Benefits schemes both internally and externally as well as co-ordinating all Compensation & Benefits for expatriate staff. Who we're looking for
Of degree calibre and CIPD qualified you will be able to demonstrate a proven HR career to date, with specific regard to Compensation and Benefits. You will be proactive in your approach and used to working in a corporate head office environment. With a strong background of working and advising at a senior level, you will be able to strategically align yourself to the business and demonstrate an ability to influence and think innovatively. A team player you will be able to build strong working relationships quickly and have the gravitas to manage and guide team members. As a senior member on the management team you will be able to make decisions autonomously and at a cross functional level. Of key importance is a positive and can do attitude with a hands on approach.
