Plant Manager

As Plant Manager you will be responsible for site manufacturing and operational performance. As part of the senior management team you will drive the highest standards of quality, health & safety, engineering and process improvement throughout the business. Using the operational budget the Plant Manager will review and implement manufacturing strategy to ensure that the operation exceed targets for its existing and potential customer base. You will be responsible for the man management, coaching and development of a manufacturing team towards improved productivity and lean manufacturing techniques and processes.

Who we're looking for
The suitable candidate will have a proven background in Chemical Plant operations at an executive management having successfully implementing change management programmes, lean manufacturing, process improvement and health and safety to the highest of standards. The Plant Manager will be able to combine the ability to work on a strategic level with exceptional leadership qualities to bring about the highest levels of success amongst the manufacturing, engineering and quality teams. Ideally you will have a degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and have a strong knowledge of chemical batch process manufacturing from both a leadership and personnel perspective.
