Site Engineering Manager

Reporting to the Site Director, the Site Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the entire engineering function, with up to 50 indirect reports and capital budgets up to £5 million. This will encompass defining a maintenance strategy; developing competent teams to ensure appropriate resources, assets and time, are geared towards a systematic approach to Engineering Maintenance. You will manage all site capital planning and expenditure to ensure individual projects are delivered on time, to budget and to specification. Moreover you will be responsible for managing Health, Safety and Environmental onsite, leading a systematic, planned and pro-active approach to SHE to deliver standards equal to, or better than, those required by legislation.

Who we're looking for
Degree qualified in Engineering or related subject, suitable candidates must have an established track record leading an engineering function within an FMCG operation, preferably in a "high care" environment such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Food. Knowledge and application of UK regulatory standards and ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO 9001 standards are also essential as is a focus on continuously challenging the Engineering function, conceptualising and delivering KPI's to further improve performance.
