The successful applicant will assist with the growth and development of the Agricultural team. Existing clients range from family farming units through to large landed estates and agribusinesses.
We are looking for applicants that are able to manage their own portfolio and co-ordinate all services provided to those clients. The role offers both an exciting opportunity to work with agriculturally related clients and the potential for progression to partnership.
The opportunity offers variety and scope including:
• Manage a mixed portfolio of clients; including farms with estate work attached.
• Provide advice on business strategy together with constructive input into succession and retirement planning.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients, being first point of contact for most issues that arise;
• Work closely with the existing partner and tax team.
• Contribute to business development and build own profile in the business community.
• Manage the existing team of accounts staff.
• Review accounts and act as point of reference to the team with regard to complex issues.
• To deal with ad hoc & special assignments
Who we're looking for
A leader, a team player, and above all a confident senior manager. Ideally you will already have a good base of contacts (not essential), and be able to leverage your new team into the market and lead them to success.
• You will be either ACA/ACCA qualified with experience of both Corporate and Non Corporate work.
• With a background in, or knowledge of, agricultural clients,perhaps as part of a mixed portfolio to date
• Knowledge of tax issues relevant to the sector
• Networking & Business Development skills.
• Managing/motivating a team to deliver results.
• Proven track record of client management
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport.
