Tele Atlas are the world leading providers of digital map data and dynamic content. This data is used by many of the leading personal navigation manufactures worldwide. Due to rapid growth, Tele Atlas are expanding the sales team and are now looking for experienced channel managers.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing European key accounts within the designated B2B channel and to co-ordinate sales strategies to grow new revenue streams.
You will be responsible for generating and closing new opportunities utilising the already established key partners that compliment Tele Atlas's solutions.
In addition, you will pro-actively Identify new partners and opportunities, draw tenders, quotations and negotiate at high decision to negotiate and close contracts.
Successful candidates will be responsible for managing significant revenue streams across the UK and EMEA and there will be significant European travel involved in this role.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for candidates from a channel sales background and most likely from a software vendor. In addition, you will ideally speak a 2nd European languages such as French, Spanish or German.
You will be able to display a successful track record of developing relationships at a senior level. Candidates for this role need to be seasoned channel managers who are equally capable of setting up new relationships as well as managing existing channel partners.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills and solid history of achieving and overachieving revenue targets. Specifically, we will be searching for candidates with the mix of the right level of experience and the right cultural fit.
You will need to be able to show a track record of:
- Managing account teams (eg technical, product, marketing, legal, support, local account managers) so that customer objectives are reached
- Monitoring market, propose pricing and business models for current and new customers.
- Defining sales approach/account strategies.
- Negotiating contractual issues for accounts.
- Expand relationships of allocated accounts into other geographic areas
- Producing accurate forecasts
