Technical Services Manager

This is a excellent opportunity to join a progressive chilled food manufacturer who produce a range of high quality products for the major food multiples. As Technical Services Manager you will form part of the site technical and quality team, reporting into the site technical manager. You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 quality auditors and implementing practices, systems and procedures. You will ensure that all quality and technical systems are compliant and in line with company's and customers strategies and policies.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate should be qualified to a Degree level or equivalent in a food related discipline. Your sector background should be within the food industry and you will be able to demonstrate first rate skills in implementing and maintaining quality and HACCP systems.
Key competencies required include:
• Excellent interpersonal skills being able to communicate effectively at all levels, including technical staff from the major food multiples.
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be a completion driven individual, with great problem solving skills.
• You will be a key team player with the ability to develop and lead people and to deputise for the site technical manager.
• You will form an integral part of the management decision making process.
