Reporting to the General Manager, the UK Customer Services Manager is responsible for the development and achievement of the businesses customer service goals, the development and management of its internal sales targets and the managing of the product range.
In addition you will:
• Work as an integral component of the SMT in developing and implementing strategy for growth
• Write and implement a 'best practice' Customer Service Plan
• Structure the customer service, outbound call and merchandising teams for growth
• Develop and implement proactive telephone team
• Manage and co-ordinate all aspects of sales order/data processing
• Provide a coordinated and proactive deliver and contact programme
• Initiate and implement people development programmes
• Develop programmes that take advantage of eCommerce opportunities, telephone processing/sales and central group procurement processes
• Strong man-management and development of team
Who we're looking for
You will be a proven commercial leader with a background in delivering demonstrably successful customer services processes and structures. Experience of working within a 'change' environment would be preferable. It is not vital that you have managed a parallel portfolio, but you must be able to take ownership for an inbound and outbound tele-sales/customer services structure. In addition you will have:
• Highly developed people & communication skills
• Experience of managing within a Customer Services environment
• Proven excellence in administration skills
• Strong management of proactive telephone sales/marketing teams
• Strong IT skills specifically MS Office
• Formal training in Customer Relationship Management/Customer Services and understanding of Customer Best Practice
• Strong understanding of eCommerce routes to market
• Driving license and the ability to work outside office hours when needed

With a small SMT you will be pivotal in the growth and direction of the operation.
What's on offer
Basic salary c.£50,000 + bonus + healthcare + expensed car + pension
