Reporting to the Group Finance Director the key responsibilities will include:
• Managing and preparing the Group financial accounts in accordance with IFRS accounting and audit requirements in line with Group timetables, policies and standards.
• Providing leadership and development of a small Group accounts team.
• Contributing to the strategic planning process identifying the financial implications of agreed strategies and ensuring the integrity of Group results.
• Managing the introduction of new reporting processes and procedures.
• Building relationship across the operating divisions to support the ongoing development.
• Taking responsibility for developing all Board packs and Group annual report.
• Supporting the Group Finance Director on business critical projects.
Who we're looking for
Prospective candidates will be ACA qualified with a strong technical background gained in an international business. Experience of applying financial rigour in accordance with current finance standards and best practice will be a pre requisite. In addition you will be adept at leading and developing a small finance team whilst maintaining a proactive approach across all divisions internationally. You will also have strong project management skills to ensure the delivery of critical programmes.
Of equal importance are outstanding interpersonal skills that are underpinned by a proactive approach. Equally a strong commercial awareness will be required to ensure that credible relationships are built across all operating divisions in this growth international business.
