The TSR is defined as a technical resource to the Sales team. The complexity of the position is at an intermediate level technical sales representative, with a complete understanding product and service offerings with regular manager contact.
As an enterprise specialist (network, servers, storage) you are expected to :
- Act as a technical resource to support the sales organization. Viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the customer by using in-depth knowledge of the enterprise technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
- Identify customer needs and requirements and utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions
- Analyze multiple market factors to both anticipate and identify customer problems and needs
- Recommend appropriate solution and quote products and services
- Run and follow up the proactive marketing campaigns in our CRM related to the business
- Engage cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location
- Effectively prioritize multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Effectively balance short term and long term priorities
- Keep account team up to speed on new enterprise products/services and how they can benefit from them
- Models effective team behaviour
The TSR focuses on passionate delivery of a positive and rewarding customer experience according to internal standards. It is key that he stays up to date on new product technology offerings. On larger projects, the incumbent will also work with Systems Consultants to sell more complex enterprise products and solutions.
The TSR is asked to assist in the on-going technical education and development of the team (coaching and mentoring).
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably technical studies)
- Fluent in German, French & English
- Strong verbal and written, communication skills
- Good technical knowledge on Servers and Storage and Network operating systems
- Good understanding on System Management
- Sales experience, sales technical support experience
- Industry or segment experience-sustained/proven performance.
- Dynamic and proactive
- Sales oriented with a strong team spirit
- Be able to set clear priorities/deadlines in a stressful environment and then achieve them
- Strong negotiation skills
