To continue to grow and develop the business, Jollyes is now looking to further develop its brand and brand presence in the UK. As a direct result, a professional Marketer is required to play a pivotal head office based role. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have overall accountability for the company Marketing Strategy and performance of the marketing department. You will take control of all marketing activity and key responsibilities will include:

• Organisation of all events such as new store openings and in-store promotions/open days.
• Development of online brand including maintenance and development of company website.
• Development of customer database.
• Production of publicity brochures, POS and all Direct Marketing activity.
• Research, writing and distribution of all press releases, aimed at targeted media.
• Create and implementation of mid-long term strategy.

Your overall aim will be to establish Jollyes as a household name and a brand all pet owners can identify with.

Who we're looking for
Highly commercial with a full mix of marketing experience (ideally from a Retail or Consumer background), you will have proven skills in developing marketing strategies and plans, together with taking ownership of all implementation. Your experience will include brand development, customer segmentation, event management, collateral production, online marketing, POS and customer communications.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to develop a Marketing function from conception within an established yet growing retailer. You must therefore be able to work proactively, autonomously and have the confidence and resilience to create change internally. As a result, you will have sharp business acumen and will relish a challenge!

Jollyes Petfood Superstore is an ever expanding specialist retailer, focused solely on the sale of pet foods and accessories. Established in the mid-30's, Jollyes is a family-owned business that has evolved over the years and in 1985 its first Petfood Superstore was opened to accommodate the ever-growing retail side of the business. Today the company has 44 stores nationwide with plans for a further 6 new stores this year.
