Business Development Executive

Business Development Executive to focus on all food service sectors in Manchester, Liverpool, M62 Corridor with specific focus on Food to Go in Retail and Convenience.
Reporting to the Channel Manager, Independents, this role is 1 of 3 in the team.
A mixture of new business and account management, key responsibilities will include:

- Manage territory
- Identify new opportunity
- Carry out installations
- Achieve budget
- Generate/convert new business to meet target
- Ensure a strong pipeline of new business
- Successful distribution of new products and achieve a broader listing base with key customers
- Cold calling of new customers to generate prospects
- Ensure company reporting processes are adhered to on time
- Proactively arranging own business meetings and schedules and presenting to senior level contacts.
- Build close working relationships with all clients and key accounts through effective account management.

- Analysis. Ability to research and identify areas of opportunity

- Strong PC & presentation skills
- High level of pro-activity, energy and enthusiasm
- Negotiation. Good sales & negotiation skills
- Self starter with the ability to operate with minimum supervision
