Working as part of the Scottish team, you will operate as a key Manager within our Corporate team, managing highly skilled and motivated staff and a number of challenging remits.
Your role will involve high level exposure to clients and target company staff as well as regular interaction with other members of the restructuring senior management team across Scotland. You will need to be articulate, confident friendly and able to act on your own initiative.
You will quickly assume responsibility for leading medium to larger sized new assignments and you will also assist on major new assignments from time to time.
You will also be allocated an existing case load for which you will assume responsibilities for progressing all key aspects of these cases.You will work with the team members to agree plans of attack and time scales for achieving key milestones ultimately leading to the completion of cases.
You will assist with business development activity and will positively contribute to winning of new assignments for the Restructuring practice in Scotland.
You will be mobile, flexible and willing to work on remits across Scotland and from time to time in other parts of the UK
Who we're looking for
Preferably a qualified CA or equivalent. An insolvency qualification is desirable but not essential.
Experienced in insolvency legislation and practice in Scotland(particularly in liquidations) and preferably already operating at Manager level.
Experience of independent business reviews would be an added advantage.
Strong report writing skills.
Committed to the job and with a professional outlook. Works to high standards
Able to demonstrate good commercial awareness allied to application of common sense to all business related issues.

Strong team skills and the confidence and ability to lead more junior staff and to deal with clients
Strong analytical ability
Good report and letter writing skills
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
