This is a great opportunity to move abroad and work for a leading Fashion Retailer. We are currently recruiting for a number of Menswear Product Manager / Buyer positions. Our client is a High Street fashion Chain who is searching for talented Menswear Product Managers / Buyers. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for someone who wants to experience an international lifestyle with a household fashion name in Europe.
You will have the following key accountabilities:
• Planning

• Collection definition

• Use own knowledge about trends in the market and about production possibilities in order to contribute to a market sensitive collection (pre-season) that can be produced on time at a reasonable cost and at the best possible CCP.

• Provide all samples on time and in line with the specifications.

• Suppliers. Know the strengths and weaknesses of the suppliers and evaluate them in order to be able to
decide where an order should best be placed and contribute to reliable, flexible, mutually
profitable and socially and environmentally responsible manufacturing sources.

• Figures

• Orders. Negotiate prices, place and track orders, if necessary take corrective actions in order to
receive the merchandise at the right quality, on time, at the lowest possible cost, taking into
account the code of conduct.

• Timelines.Determine and follow-up all the timelines (from collection sketches till order placement),
taking into account different lead times, take corrective actions when necessary so that the
merchandise can be available on time.

• Quality and fit to the product. Check the quality and the fit of the product samples in order to ensure that the produced
product is as requested.

• Market visits. Visit competitors, own stores, suppliers in order to get more information about what is the
correct product or not, about trends, etc.

Who we're looking for
You will be an existing Buyer, Senior Buyer or Buying Manager from a fast paced volume high street fashion retailer with good Menswear sourcing background.You will be ideally looking for the next career move and open to relocating to another country to do so.
