Web Manager

• Prepare a long term web strategy ensuring it is aligned with the Firms global strategy
• Participate in an ongoing program to redevelop the current web site onto a new platform with new design and branding
• Establish relationships with existing and potential new partners for development and maintenance of the web site and corporate intranet
• Develop, implement and deploy policies and procedures for the control of content and change requests
• Ensure the web site content is up to date and accurate
• Track and evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations as necessary
• Assess competing web sites as regards content, look and feel, functionality and make recommendations to apply to the Firm's site
• Create and maintain a consistent web site architecture in conjunction with the Firm's IT Services
• Advise on and create templates for web page layouts ensuring branding is consistent
• Manage web site presence and promotion opportunities
• Liaise with the business as to objectives and requirements and make recommendations and implementations around that
• Analyse and report on web site traffic
• Participate in the development and integration of other technologies such as blogs, wikis, podcasting etc.
• Review other web facing services such as intranet and make recommendations for increased use and content control

• Experienced - with proven skills in working across an organization at all levels to deliver customer focused internet technologies, new ideas in website design and innovation, advising content development
• Creative - you will have a flair for content design and presentation, sound writing skills and a keen eye for detail
• Confident - you will manage an internal web content team and maintain an effective relationship with external suppliers and internal clients
• Visionary - you will help in the ongoing transformation of our website as more and more services are made electronically available
• Professional - you will have editorial control of the website developing this channel as a method of communication
• Technical - You will have good understanding of web technologies and architecture and have an interest in emerging technologies
• Communication - Candidate should have excellent all-round communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of seniority
