At ASDA, the finance team is highly visible and influential across the ASDA business - they are always looking for great colleagues to join them and develop long term careers. The Finance team touches virtually every area of the business. They are responsible for everything from exercising financial control to analysing performance, from establishing supplier strategies to helping make the business case for introducing new categories. They require Financial & Business Accountants to be responsible for all aspects of financial control, from managing the month end processing and reporting on MI to internal customers and US parent operations, to influencing the direction of the business through variance analysis and performance interpretation. This is a large team with numerous entry points and will provide an outstanding opportunity for the very best talent, ranging from newly qualified to those with significant PQE.
Who we're looking for
ASDA are looking for the very best candidates with a proven track record. To be successful you will be able to work at pace, have excellent analytical skills and have the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. With a good degree, first time passes (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA) and a Big 4 background and/or blue chip background, you will be passionate about making a difference to profitability, to your work colleagues and to customers. Opportunities are available at all levels, from those making their first moves to those who already have significant industry experience.
