Senior Manager - Financial Services Audit & Advisory

Successful candidates for the Senior Manager - Financial Services Audit & Advisory role will be responsible for both audit and advisory assignments, and will be expected to be capable of holding key roles on advisory engagements, working directly with senior client staff and other professionals from across the firm. Other duties will be to help with the development of the business and increase revenue for the office.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have the following skill set:
• ACA/CA qualification (or equivalent) with extensive financial services audit experience a prerequisite.
• Good knowledge and experience of regulation, compliance and operating practices for the investment management, insurance or banking sectors. • Thorough knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS.
• Proven track record in the understanding and interpretation of regulation within the industry and the implementation of solutions to address regulatory requirements.
• A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and lead the business development process.
• The ability to work under own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
• Specific financial sector experience.
• Industry or international experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong leadership skills.
• Exceptional presentation, business writing and professional standards.
